Using a needle and thread (and a computer controlled embroidery machine), embroidery is the process of sewing designs and or text into garments/materials.
Here at STT Sports Lettering Co. we embroider in house with our industrial quality embroidery machines. Embroider custom details to your sports team uniforms, club and group apparel or other personal orders. It can be combined with our tackle twill/appliqué work, or on its own.
Most often we embroider directly to clothing after they have been created (post-manufactured). This would include, but is no where near limited to, your standard left chest embroidery on a polo shirt.
Sometimes you will see embroidery in exotic locations, like in the middle of a pocket. If that pocket hasn't been sewn shut it was probably embroidered before the garment was created (pre-manufactured).
The other popular form of embroidery is a patch, which is basically stand alone, self contained embroidery that can be applied to nearly anything.

The cost of embroidery is directly dependent on the type of embroidery, the number of stitches/ needle penetrations needed to sew the design, and the quantity ordered.
